By limiting the overlap between high-powered telecommunications signals and sensitive scientific instruments, Stay-Out Zones help maintain the integrity of critical data used in climate research and weather prediction. Without these protections, interference could compromise data accuracy, reducing our ability to model and predict extreme weather events.
